INTERNAL — PROPRIETARY FRAMEWORK

The Navigation Platform Template

The reusable infrastructure behind Path To Work — applicable to any underserved population navigating a complex system. Documented for internal use and future licensing.

🏗️ What the Template Is

Path To Work is built on a reusable platform pattern. The core insight: underserved populations face complex systems they can't navigate alone, and there are always trusted community leaders who already have access to those populations. The template turns that dynamic into a scalable, three-sided business.

The template has four layers that always work together:

1
Free Navigation Tool
A lightweight assessment or navigator that helps individuals understand their situation and find next steps. Free to end users. This builds trust and adoption.
2
Community Partner Network
Trusted community leaders (pastors, parole officers, caseworkers, VSO commanders) who refer people from their existing networks. Org-level, no personal commission.
3
Affiliate Sales Rep Track
Independent individuals who promote the platform for commission. No existing authority over referred persons. FTC-compliant, performance-based.
4
B2B Organization Sales
Nonprofits, employers, government agencies, and healthcare systems that pay for bulk access and custom plans for their client populations.

💰 Revenue Model (Applies to All Verticals)

🔑 How to Use This as a Business

Option A — Build Each Vertical Yourself

Launch one new vertical every 6–12 months once Path To Work hits revenue readiness. Each new platform takes 2–4 weeks to build using the template (assessment content is the only new work). Same partner network, same admin system, same agreements.

Option B — White-Label to Other Organizations

License the template to nonprofits, hospitals, or government agencies that want to build their own navigation platform for their specific population. They pay a setup fee + monthly licensing fee. You handle hosting and updates; they handle content and community partners. License fee: $2,500–$10,000 setup + $500–$2,000/month.

Option C — Franchise the Partner Model

Train regional "Path To Work directors" who operate the platform in a specific metro or county under the Path To Work brand. They recruit local partners and orgs. You get a revenue share. This is the downline/franchise expansion model and works especially well for markets with strong existing community infrastructure (churches, VSOs, probation departments).

Option D — Sell to a Larger Platform

After proving the model in one or two verticals with paying org clients, the entire platform (tech + partner network + agreements + brand) becomes an acquisition target for workforce development companies, hospital systems, healthcare SaaS companies, or government contractors. Comparable acquisitions in this space have ranged from $1M–$25M depending on revenue and user base.
