🔍 PHASE 1 — Identify & Vet
  • Identify the potential partner and confirm they have access to your target population
    Parole officers, VSO commanders, pastors, disability org directors, freelancers, influencers, etc.

    If the person has authority over the people they'd refer, route to Community Partner / org level, not individual commission.

👥 MAKING REFERRALS
  • Identify 5–10 individuals in your network who could benefit from Path To Work
    Veterans, returning citizens, justice-involved youth, people with disabilities, disconnected youth, career changers
  • Use one of the pre-approved scripts to introduce Path To Work
    Scripts are in the Partner Portal under "How to Talk About Path To Work." Don't modify core claims.
  • Share your referral link or the live platform: pathtowork.org
  • Submit your first referral through the Partner Portal → "Submit a Referral"
  • Log all referrals as they happen (don't batch — log each one)

🏢 ORGANIZATIONAL REFERRALS (optional)
  • Identify one organization in your network that serves your target population
    A nonprofit, employer, probation office, church, school, or workforce dev center
  • Use the "Decision Maker Outreach" script to introduce Path To Work to an org leader
  • Connect the org leader to pathtoworkadmin@gmail.com for a follow-up conversation or demo
📞 FOLLOW-UP & CHECK-IN
  • Schedule your mid-pilot check-in call with the Provider
    Email pathtoworkadmin@gmail.com to set up a 15–20 minute call around Day 45
  • Share feedback from your referred individuals (what they said, what worked, what didn't)
  • Reach the 5-referral goal by end of pilot (Day 90)
  • Discuss pilot renewal and post-pilot compensation terms

⚠️ STEP 2 — FTC DISCLOSURE (REQUIRED BY LAW)
  • Add a disclosure to every public post or promotion — no exceptions
    Use this exact language or similar: "I'm an affiliate of Path To Work and may receive compensation if you sign up through my link."
  • Disclosure must be visible — not buried, not hidden in settings, not only in a bio link
    It must appear at or near the top of the promotional content, before the referral link.
  • Do NOT make income claims ("I made $X promoting this") — you are not yet earning commission
  • Do NOT promise specific outcomes to referred participants ("This will get you a job")
    Stick to the pre-approved scripts in the Partner Portal. Path To Work is a career navigation tool, not a job placement service.
📣 STEP 3 — START REFERRING
  • Download and review outreach materials (pitch deck, email templates) from the Partner Portal
  • Use only the pre-approved scripts — do not modify core claims about the platform
    Scripts are in the Portal under "How to Talk About Path To Work." Script 4 is your social media script with FTC language built in.
  • Share your referral link in your posts, emails, DMs, texts — everywhere your audience is
  • Submit your first referral through the Partner Portal within 30 days
    Goal: 3 referrals in 30 days, 10 in 90 days. Each referral logged = a credit toward your compensation tier.
  • Log every referral as you go — Portal → Submit a Referral, or email pathtoworkadmin@gmail.com

  • Schedule your mid-pilot (Day 45) check-in call
  • Reach 10-referral goal by Day 90
  • Discuss formal affiliate agreement and compensation terms at end of pilot
